I got a call last week from one of the trainers at the track. She had a 4 year old stallion that needed to find a new home QUICK! I said OK, but he had to make a trip to the vet's before he arrived here. We arranged for the trainer to drop him off at the vet's and I'd pick him up from there and bring him home after the deed was done.

I called the vet in the afternoon to see if he was ready and yes he was. I also heard so many wonderful things about him. Pretty nice when the vet is telling you what a good guy he is, how quiet and easy and nicely put together. Pretty good.

So I go pick him up and bring him home and yes, he's quite a sweetheart. He definitely needs more groceries, but we can manage that. And he came through the surgery just fine and he's learned how to lunge so we can do our trotting without much fuss.

I haven't had time to take pics of him. My picture taking time seems to have shrunk between all the other things going on. But here's a short video clip of him right after he was unloaded on arrival.
